Tasks Page Overview
Welcome to the Tasks page of the GIS Workstation. This guide will help you navigate and understand the features of the Tasks Page in the GIS Workstation.
- Overview of GIS Workstation: The GIS Workstation serves as a file manager for all geospatial data collected for a trial. It also provides users with a suite of GIS tools to review, process, and analyze the data.
- Accessing GIS Workstation Tasks Page: To access the GIS Workstation, select the "GIS Workstation" tab at the top of the page.
- Tasks Page: Upon navigating to the GIS Workstation, you will land on the Tasks page. Here, you will find a list of tasks that need to be addressed for a given trial.
- Trial and Protocol Selection: If you have multiple trials or protocols, you can use the drop-down menus at the top of the page to select the specific trial or protocol you want to work with.
- Understanding Tasks: Tasks are geospatial files uploaded to a trial that are not in a processed state. Each row in the task list represents a single geospatial file uploaded to a trial. The following information is provided for each task:
- Grower name
- Field name
- File type
- Upload status
- Upload date
- Navigating to the Trial Data Screen: To review the data collected for a trial, select the "Open" button next to a task. This will navigate you to the Trial Data Screen, which is where you will be able to complete the work QA and process the file.
