INVISION v3.10 delivers focused improvements to enrollment workflows, file processing reliability, GIS workstation performance, mobile app functionality, and integrations. This release reflects ongoing client feedback and our commitment to scalability, stability, and ease of use in both desktop and mobile environments.

New Features

1. Fields & Protocol Enrollment Improvements

The enrollment interface for fields and protocols has been redesigned to make it faster and easier to manage trial participation.

• Search & Status Columns → Quickly find enrolled fields or protocols and track their enrollment status.

• User Attribution → The system now records and displays who enrolled each field, improving auditability and accountability.

• Grower-Centric View → A new view shows all protocols a grower is currently enrolled in, allowing admins to directly enroll or drop growers without navigating across multiple screens.

Value: Provides project managers and admins with clear visibility into grower participation, reduces errors in enrollment management, and improves compliance tracking.

2. INVISION Mobile – Enhanced Field Notes & Imagery Layers

The mobile app has gained parity with desktop functionality and new mapping flexibility.

• Favorited Satellite Imagery → Users can now toggle favorite imagery layers on/off in the field, enabling faster decision-making without overwhelming the map.

• Field Notes Enhancements → Mobile notes now support:

  • Titles for better organization.

  • Protocol Step Links for contextual notes tied directly to specific trial steps.

Value: Empowers operatives and field staff with better mobile tools, ensuring consistency between desktop and mobile workflows.

File Uploads & GIS Performance

a. Case Management Integration

• Automated Support Ticketing: When a file upload fails, INVISION now automatically generates a support case with detailed error logs.

• Impact: Faster root-cause analysis, reduced back-and-forth between users and support teams, and improved system reliability monitoring.

b. GIS Workstation Scalability

• Optimized processing for large planting and application files (500K+ features, such as split-planter data).

• Fix: Previously, such large files could cause failures in product assignment or zone creation.

• Result: Reliable ingestion and processing of high-volume machine data.

c. File Upload Routing

• All files are now routed through optimized Google Cloud Storage (GCS) links.

• Benefits:

  • Improved reliability of uploads.

  • Reduced server strain during peak times.

  • Better handling of concurrent uploads.

Automated Protocol Exports

The export system for protocols has been enhanced to improve transparency and broaden access.

• Audit Trail: Exports now log who ran each export, with timestamp and status (completed/failed).

• Expanded Permissions: Trial Admins can now run exports (previously limited to client-admins and super-admins).

• Impact: More control for operational teams and clearer accountability for data generation.

Bug Fixes

INVISION Mobile

• Fixed syncing issues that caused delays in uploading field data.

• Resolved photo duplication during field visits.

• Dropout fields are now excluded from planning screens as expected.

• Note pins now display with the correct color and clarity on maps.

Climate FieldView Integration

• Fixed an error where valid operations were not appearing during file upload, ensuring seamless transfer of Climate FV machine data into INVISION.

Boundary File Uploads & GIS

• Improved error handling for .kmz boundary files, reducing failed uploads.

• Fixed layer toggling bugs in GIS Workstation, ensuring operation dates (planting & application) toggle correctly without rendering issues.

Automated Exports

• Boundary files are now correctly included in protocol-level exports.

• Fixed an issue where failed records were blocking rollup summaries, ensuring exports complete even if some records fail.

UI Stability

• Resolved random crashes caused by local storage inconsistencies.

• Fixed field/role switching bugs that caused intermittent access errors when moving between clients or roles.

INVISION v3.10.4 strengthens the platform’s core workflows (enrollment, GIS, exports, and mobile) while improving file reliability and system stability. These updates are a direct result of user and client feedback, making the platform more resilient, transparent, and efficient for both day-to-day operations and long-term scalability.
