March 2026 Release v3.17.0 We’re excited to share the latest updates to INVISION. This release expands weather coverage into South America, adds configurable metric weather units, improves large-scale field and grower enrollment, and includes several enhancements to dashboards, client context handling, imagery validation, and geometry processing. New Features South America Weather and Metric Weather Units INVISION now supports South America weather data using daily datasets sourced from INPE SAMeT, expanding field-level weather coverage into LATAM regions. This enables weather-driven analysis for South America fields across both current and historical periods, helping teams better evaluate trial conditions, seasonal trends, and field performance in supported regions. INVISION also now supports protocol-level configurable weather units, allowing weather data to be displayed in either: Fahrenheit / inches Celsius / millimeters This provides better support for international trial programs and regions where metric weather units are required. Bulk Field and Grower Enrollment INVISION now supports bulk enrollment of growers and fields from external geospatial datasets. This capability helps teams onboard large volumes of field and grower data more efficiently, especially when working with legacy datasets or third-party data sources that exist outside of INVISION. Instead of recreating fields and growers manually, external datasets can be cleaned, standardized, and converted into usable INVISION records. This reduces onboarding effort and helps teams move faster from raw data to trials, analysis, and insights. Feature Enhancements External Dashboard Performance Improvements INVISION external dashboards have been upgraded to improve performance and load times across dashboard experiences used for field visits, lab data, and analytics workflows. Improved Multi-Tab Client Context Client context handling has been improved so each browser tab can better maintain its active workspace, reducing cross-tab overrides and creating a more consistent user experience. Improved Imagery Ordering Error Visibility Imagery subscription error handling has been improved to provide clearer validation feedback when boundary-related requirements are not met. Improved Geometry Handling Field geometry parsing, normalization, and validation have been improved to reduce upload issues and improve enrollment reliability. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where imported protocol steps could be missing default sections such as General in Protocol Field Data. Improved boundary overlap detection and visibility into overlapping field context. Fixed a mobile app error that could occur when opening fields with field notes that do not contain location data. Fixed an issue where valid machine data tables could fail to download due to a missing unnecessary metadata field record.
